When NSW Government funding cuts in 2010 led to the cancellation of the Rock Eisteddfod, Randwick Boys and Girls High Schools decided to produce their own show, performed at NIDA in Term 3. All our shows have been performed to sold-out audiences of over 700 in the Parade Theatre at NIDA.
The coordinators from the two schools, Miss M. Ford from Randwick Boys and Ms K. Fagan from Randwick Girls, could not be prouder of the efforts of the students, nor more grateful for the support from the teachers, parents and community. Additionally, the tireless efforts and incredible vision of creative director and choreographer, Alysia Hodges, must be mentioned!
The show is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their talents in dancing, singing, acting, and stage production, to work together as a team, and build strong values in the school community.
